I would suspect that if Thursday is rained out, it will get made up August 25th. Although there is a day off at for both teams at the end of the series in Houston in July. However, I think that would be last on MLB's list with it effectively takign a home game away from the Yankees.
There is a chance they get it in, but it could be an awful game with a number of rain delays. Every hour after 5pm(eastern) has less than a 50% chance of rain as of now, per Weather Channel.
I'd figure they'd be able to get it in eventually... even if its a delayed start. Isn't that hard to travel from NY to Milwaukee, even if they end up playing till really late.
I'm sure this may have been mentioned earlier in the thread but I missed it. The Yankees have tried to kill secondary ticket sales by requiring the original ticket be used for entry. There will be no at home printing of tickets effectively killing the use of sites like StubHub to resell tickets. John Oliver took exception to this and bought tickets behind home plate for the opening series. he sold them for 25 cents to people who could look the most ridiculous. Yesterday we got ninja turtles, any guesses at what we will get tonight and tomorrow? Here is an article about it. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry...s-25-cent-tickets_us_57027c47e4b0daf53af0154b
White in the lineup. Good news. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="es" dir="ltr">Astros lineup vs. Pineda: Altuve 2B, Springer RF, Correa SS, Rasmus LF, Gomez CF, Valbuena 3B, White 1B, Tucker DH, Castro C.</p>— Jake Kaplan (@jakemkaplan) <a href="https://twitter.com/jakemkaplan/status/717805785691136001">April 6, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
I'm not sure what kind of rules there are regarding clothing, but you almost feel like there needs to be a Borat bathing suit. How more inappropriate could you get?
The octopus guy in the article I posted was pretty inappropriate. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't get in though.
Wow, cant believe White is in the lineup...that's pretty crazy. You'd think he'd at least get some slight swelling on his finger or some discomfort to the point where he cant grip the bat like he'd want to.
I'm not sure why folks are surprised, it was expected that White would start in Game 2 before the series began. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Tyler White expected to start second game of year</p>— Brian McTaggart (@brianmctaggart) <a href="https://twitter.com/brianmctaggart/status/716990017462222849">April 4, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
I'm not worried about any other team except the Astros at this point in time! Can talk about other teams in late September, but I hope we don't have to.
