    It was actually the Angels and due to the fact that MLB suspended at least 2 of the umpires for a couple of games, I strongly suspect the protest would have been upheld. Clear rules violation.

    Yeah, the Rays was about losing the DH. Joe Maddon just did a better job teaching the umpires the rules than Mike Scioscia.

    The lesson here is, Bo Porter was terrible at his job.

    Yeah...especially considering it was a 1-run game and cost them Carter who was hot at the time.

    I'm still wondering how he convinced the umpires that it was OK to replace Wright. :)
