I did a cursory look at his games this year, because all his stats are pretty much in line with what he's done so far in his ok/good but not 13-2 good career. He's 2nd in MLB in run support/9 innings, at almost 7.5 (McHugh is the highest ranked Astro, 22nd with a shade over 5/game.
The bats were pretty dead on this 10 game homestand as well. The excellent starting pitching and late game magic got us our winning homestand.
Nahhhhh he does not hit that good away from minute maid park. Now, be careful with Beltran as he is hitting lately. The pitcher from tonight's game is doing very good lately but Felman has done very good also. Is going to be a tough series and what I really want is .500 in these 6 games.
I thought about that a bit, but how much does it really matter? You're going to have to win 2 tough AL series no matter who they play. Would you rather play Toronto in a 5 game series or the team that was good enough to beat Toronto in a 7? It's also not out of the question with the way they're playing that they catch the Royals. So keep counting your eggs, they're just not chickens yet.
Eovaldi gave up more hits than any pitcher in baseball last year and this year he has the 4th highest whip out of all qualifying pitchers.
Yep, he doesn't pitch deep into games, averages over 17 pitches/inning, but does do a good job of keeping the ball on the ground. He's basically their Scott Feldman. Is the Yankees pen any good?
We need to focus on 1) Winning the division 2) Getting HFA for the divisional series Can't control how the teams around us are playing. If we keep winning games then the rest will take care of itself.

Unfortunately for us, it's not good. It's excellent. Fortunately for us, there's nobody in their rotation that comes close to the other two pitchers we're running out there this series. I predict a series win.
I would generally agree but If the yanks win it that means for whatever reason they were better than Toronto for the final 6 weeks of the season
Yes, but that is the Astros biggest strength. Crushing the other team's bullpen no matter how good they are!
Plus he's swinging a decent bat lately. I'd also prefer to keep taking advantage of Castro's current run of success as much as possible. Conger hasn't been good lately.
Why can't Marisnek play OF and put Marwin at first? We can't afford to have carter in the lineup at this point in the season
