This WAS the perfect opportunity to get Smith and Dezenzo into the same lineup and DH Altuve. They both have potential and could be above average players in this league, but they need dozens if not hundreds of more PAs to get there. The more you sit them, the longer that process takes. And there are too few opportunities for them to play together.
