today was such opposite of yesterday. meyers blunder in CF allowed whitesox a run. then he went 4/4 after that blunder. dezenzo hit a homerun to give the astros the lead. then went on to drop a routine shallow pop fly and everything just fell apart from there. smh.
Sox literally left in Wilson for tanking to get mashed on. And Stro's found a way to do worse than tank-ball lol But I dont mind calling this a weather loss. Dont like giving excuses, but seemed obvious the rain affected performance. On Dezenzo error too.
And Dezenzo STILL played RF even when Paredes was benched. So that shows you how bad he is at 3rd. we already have DH covered and that is what Dezenzo is, obviously. and with Yordan being out, he could’ve been DH today. We still get his home run and no little league error to lose the game.
The man made his first error of the year and you've determined that he sucks? Were you saying this before the game or when he made that great catch in in LF the other day?
How many games in the outfield? How many in RF? How do you not understand that 1 error in 1 game is not the greatest %. Where am I losing you? And stop with your “before the game” comment. It’s dumb and doesn’t serve your argument at all. Also, I already stated that I didn’t realize he was in RF before the game. So not sure why you keep going there, even after I stated that. It was a 3 run error (partly because of another ball he misplayed) and we had MUCH better defensive outfielders on the bench. Espada should have put Dezenzo at DH and put a real outfielder in RF. There was no need to play him there today, especially with our DH out. It was not an emergency situation in RF. Also, could’ve still had Diaz’s bat in the lineup if we just played him at catcher since yesterday was a day game. Or, you could’ve given Diaz the day off, had Caratini catch, chas or cam in right, Dezenzo at DH. Could’ve even put Dubon in RF and waited a day to rest Paredes and still had Dezenzo at DH.
I didn't read your post after you called me dumb. I will tell you what is dumb is saying a guy sucks after he made his 1st error of the season and I don't care if it's the first game he's played in MLB. It's too early to tell. Like you said he hasn't played out there much. I need a much longer sample size before I declare him to suck. He hasn't sucked out there until today and the 2nd ball hit to him was a base hit, not a ball he misjudged.
Well your talking without listening problem is why we are still going ‘round about this. Case in point- I never called you dumb. I said your point, that you keep going for, about me not complaining about Dezenzo before the game was dumb.
Bingo. Excellent opportunity for Citron, Snitker, ESP, Lopez someone to call this out. Do we think that occurred? We question these small things that we continually botch because it feels like they miss the obvious. Same with Altuve first up after LMJ just threw 32 pitches in the top and he swings at the first pitch. WTF?
His drop caused the BP to **** the bed? Obviously should’ve caught it. Call me old school, the 1st time a guy makes an error whether it be in game 1 or 162, I dont think it's right to say this guy should never play that position again and I understand your point about the lineup.
No way we should lose to the friggin White Sox like that, yesterday was just fuggly. The bright spot was Sat with Jake, WTH man, that was his best performance as an Astro
