I could see that, but what I'm saying is that if it was the only blown call, that would be more annoying than an ump who is flat out incompetent screwing one up in the favor of the batter after screwing up calls all day long in favor of the pitcher.
Good start for Lance, should have been 4, that was a missed 3rd strike call but 3 2/3rds shut out ball is good. DD
Lance really fought his control, which is expected in his first Start back. Very happy with his effort. That umpire owes Lance, and Taylor Scott dinner. (I know they aren't allowed) Lance for screwing him on that last call, Scott for saving him being plastered all over the highlights/lowlights if runs had scores.
Agreed. the umpiring has been miserable this series ( and season, decade) but it's infinitely better than yesterday, lol.
