Going into this series I felt game 2 would be a loss but it's still frustrating. The lineup has too many holes right now. When Yordan doesn't do something special the offense struggles more times than not.
We shouldn’t have gotten shut down by Cease. He’s struggled mightily all season. Once again the offense comes into a game with no game plan. Fire the ****ing hitting coaches if for no other reason than to make a statement.
For what it's worth, I did like Brown's re-signing of Javier, which still seems like a solid investment. The fact that all these disasters occurred before Brown came on, and he came to the organization with such a strong history gives me hope. That and the fact that there's still a ton of talent left on this team. But this past offseason didn't do them any favors thus far, and if Montero and Abreu are truly whiffs, it REALLY does them no favors moving forward.
F\/CK this clown chef as manager... seriously... RETIRE DUDE-- take Abroughtalready and Bagwrong with you... do something DB!!!
That’s 3 losses in a row with 8 runs given up in 2.2 innings. Everyone knew what was going to happen except Dusty, apparently. Dusty can really be frustrating..
Remember Bagwell also pushed his bud Brad Aumus for the GM position and Crane actually said he was a finalist. We should've seen the red flags but all our heads were in the clouds because of the World Series win...
Don’t worry, they found something in Abreu and the rest of the lineup’s swing and they are working on fixing it. Cintron is all over it. And found something mechanical with Montero and are working to correct it. And found something mechanical with Brantley’s shoulder and should be ready to go next year.
