2 good pitchers for sure, but it’s still disappointing that we played with what seemed to be zero fight these last 2 games.
That was pathetic. Without Toro we would have been shutout yesterday and had a perfect game thrown against us today.
I love that your 2 moods regarding the Astros are "We're going to the World Series" and "We ****ing suck"
5-2 against each of the two Sox teams in the AL, the other two division leaders, isn't too bad. Bad stretch for some of the bats right now though. Whitesox have some scary arms but the Astros have a ton of playoff experience over those guys if they should meet in the postseason. That could be a huge advantage for the Astros.
Upping his trade value at the right time!!!!! Seriously though, we really need Bregman back. Toro has been invisible outside of those two hits.
fan is short for fanatic. It’s one part of life where being bi-polar is ok. We can be level headed at work.
Chicago’s baserunning issues and defensive issues will come back to haunt them at some point this season or postseason. but they do have a scary rotation and bullpen and sometimes, in the playoffs, that’s all you need.
Very disappointing showing. I thought after the dramatic win against NY and then the series opening win at chicago that they had flipped the switch on and were gonna dominate. I guess it can still happen but this was disappointing to see.
Last 15 games…. Correa hitting .140. Altuve hitting .186. Yordan hitting .189. Yuli hitting .211. Maldonado .146. That’s 5 of your 9 starters.
Well, when we get Diaz and Bregman back, that's two more right handed bats to face Rodon instead of the sad display put up today and yesterday.
