Super disappointing to only come away with 2 runs after loading the bases up twice in that inning. Chirinos made those 92 mph fastballs look like they were hitting triple digits.
Pitcher can't find the plate with GPS and a map, gets up 2-0, swings through a hittable pitch, then swings through balls 3 and 4. Not a great AB.
I agree - but that means Brantley, who's already mediocre in LF goes to RF. That's some ugly outfield defense.
I would almost guarantee they *don't* do that. It would be a wonderful problem to have, if we get to have it. Sox have squared up some balls, but it seems there has been an inordinate number of bloops and bleeders this series.

Nope. You always take the easier play. It wasn't a force out at home and Jimenez isn't a slowpoke, which would have meant that the throw would have had to have been perfect.
We scored 6 in the first game, Ivan Nova is definitely not garbage, and we've touched up Detwiler for 4 runs through 3 innings. We've left some runners in scoring position, but to say they're struggling is a reach IMO.
