When i made the post he had 37 pitches, bases loaded, one out. The next pitch was a double play. He has looked good since. At that point it was looking grim, like many of our SP performances lately.
The offense should be able to score more than 2 runs against a guy that's been torched by the rest of the league.
If we lose tonight I have officially gave up on the Astros this season. Holy **** if they can't destroy the white Sox then they're pretty ****in bad.
The Astros top 3 pitchers are crap now ! No way can they win with the injuries those 3 have or they way they are pitching now
McHugh has developed this slider... which will serve him well as a great third pitch... but he's going to have to learn not to fall in love with it, or overuse it, as it does have a tendency to backup on him and be right in the heart of the plate.
I still think it should have been Kemp that was brought up fisher just hasn't show me that he should be here.
Fisher really looks slow, or just plain lost in the OF. This isn't as fun as it was just a month ago so I punch pillows. Back to catching up on Veep now.
