Can we put Nieve in Qualls' role now?

    We suck bad.

Going back to the WS, which was a sweep in 4, the Sox have like, a Grand Salami like .. EVERY OTHER GAME.

We can't beat them. We just can't.

I really don't know how to feel , ashamed , or mad . This team doesnt have "it" . Its getting to the point that I really cant watch this team without getting pissed . I'm a Stros fan to the bone , but I think I'm gonna take of a week or two of watching and keeping up with them to relieve some of this stress .

Yea...but we know that just when you reach the point of no return for the Astros...they come back to surprise the hell out of you. Therefore, whatever horrible predictions I might say when things are bad as to how the season will play out, I have to bite my tongue. Unfortunately, I don't have much tongue left. I've never been through so many highs and lows watching this team than the last 3 seasons. It's just been unbelievable.

I feel your pain Surfguy . It gets so dang frustrating watching these guys . You always feel that if you stop watching the games they are gonna go on some big time tear and get back into it . Its just something different this year ..... I just don't have that feeling Yet . Then again , Ive said that in previous seasons and look what happened .

The ride has been incredible, but what I wouldn't give to have some stability and consistency in our sucess. Just an ordinary 95+ win season. :)

That's what I said. I think he said it too in the dugout. He is going to be one of the best pitchers. With his raw talent and some fine tuning from the likes of Clemens and Oswalt, this man is destined to be baseball royalty.

Now today's game was not a fun one to be at....HOPEFULLY, Roy O. and the bullpen can come through tomorrow night. ESPN 7:05 start on Sunday. Our 3rd national tv game in 4 days. I would be nice to win one.

St. Louis, who is on the exact same road-trip that we're on right now (they played the White Sox, now in Detroit)... is currently 0-5 with one left to play.

We've been very thankful to not lose any ground, despite being awful the last week, but its a scary proposition when you see the way these AL teams are beating up on what's supposedly the best the NL can offer.

The only problem is see with that is St. Louis has yet to play KC and Minn right...we gotta hope that A) they can't muster up many wins against them and/or B) we can scratch out a few against the Sox, Detroit and Texas.

The way the AL has been dominating we might as well just give them the damn trophy now, jeez. :p

I, for one, have no problem getting embarassed by the reigning MLB champions who only got better in the offseason.

I just hope Garner plays to win the All-Star game and brings the home field to the NL in the WS.

You would be wise not to under estimate the power of the Black Sox.

You'd be surprised how a DH can greatly improve an offense.

Though the White Sox...they are something else...a team I thought was overachieving last year... I wouldn't be surprised they win the WS again.

Except unlike the first game, this one had Astros-win all over it. Then one pitch from Qualls and it all goes away. It was just like the 2, 3, and 4 games of the World Series, games we could have won but didn't.
