    Agree. I know he’ll likely hit his way out of this, but this is easily his worst slump I can remember (when he’s been healthy).

    He has these phases every year where he isn't seeing the ball well and forgets all strike zone discipline. I'd tack it to that.

    Is it though? I feel like he goes through one of these late every year. Just a different time of year. I did no statistical research on that however.

    Trout has swung at 4 of 149 pitches this season off the plate.

    Of his 445 pitches seen, he's swung at 151 and missed 15 times.
