It is odd with an off day on Friday before the 2-day trip to Mexico.

Didn't look like it would have mattered tonight regardless, though.

I'm concerned about how visible that urinal was in the Twins dugout.

Hinch walked 90 feet at a brisk pace, then sat on his ass by heater the rest of the night.

Edit- *salvage*.. But yeah, SAVAGE tomorrow 11-0 style, then score 5+ the next game this time.

I don’t know... Hinch has done this type of things numerous times. He won a WS and kept the Astros from collapsing last year... so now I just note it and figure he will still win the division.

When I ask people close to the Astros about Hinch they treat him like he is a mixture of Santa Claus and Tom Brady. They all literally glow talking about him... so I just accept that he is that special and find something else to b**** about.

If not a tactician as a manager, he's possibly the greatest bench coach in mlb history.

Tactician is overrated except when you place a subpar defender in CF every game and the stud OF defender in a corner. Communicating with players is the number 1 measure of a good manager. One fine example is Hinch calling Springer after WS game 1 and telling him he's batting lead off tomorrow regardless of what the pundits want.

With Kluber fracturing his forearm, Twins have a real shot at winning the AL Central.

Who would be a nice bench middle infielder who’d be a potential upgrade of Diaz on the trade market, maybe Gurriel (if he struggles for much longer). Maybe look at signing Keuchel or making a deal. McHugh would add to an already great pen.

We just can’t seem to get on a dominant run this year as of yet. I mean 6th place overall isn’t bad. But I hoped for better (yes I am greedy). The back end of our rotation is eh. Although Miley has been ok. Hope they get on a roll soon.

Need more 10+ game winning streaks?

18-12 months, while seeming just slightly above average, do translate to winning 97-102 games.

Don't put the greatest CF ever (Marisnick) in left or right.

Porter would play Fowler in center field over Marisnick because Fowler, as the better hitter, got to decide where he wanted to play.

Granted, this could have been Porter was bad at communicating and didn't want to manage (leading players to do what's best for the team) when there would be push back. Front office could have felt pressure to appease Fowler's agent as they didn't want any hiccups with signing Brady Aiken.

They lead the entire league in slugging, they’re good. That doesn’t happen by accident nearly 30 games in. They’ll cool off but they have some good young hitters

Twins are wearing their newborn toddler tutu bloomers today. It's time to put them in their place.
