IIRC, Peacock was a top-50 prospect when he came to the Astros. Guess he finally put it all together.

I would take Peacock out. Not the greatest a second and third time through the order.

Its what makes Keuchel and McCullers so good. Great command or stuff is so good it doesn't matter.

So 60 pitches is the Peacock Line.

Danny Darwin would never allow a guy to stand that close to the plate. Time to dust 'em.

Unlucky, had both guys at a 1-2 count

And 4 pitch walk to Gimenez, not so unlucky.

    Yikes.

    Clean catch could've gotten him.

So Buxton's awful AB makes me have to ask the question.

Bigger Bust- Mark Appel or Byron Buxton.

Staats: "So the question now is how far outside you can throw it and still get him to chase."

Peacock throws the ball 2 feet outside, Buxton flails at it.

eta: goddamit McCann, that's twice this weekend you've done that ****.

Appel should've been in the Majors 4 years ago. Well, that's what Harold Reynolds told me

Twins radio broadcast mentioned a 70-pitch limit for Peacock.

They also mentioned McCann may've gotten crossed-up on that wild pitch.

good game for peacock couldn't have asked for more, the walk on jimenez really mugged things up for him.

Well keep it to a 1-run deficit, and we've still got a fighting chance. Need to get to their BP soon

So, at least it seems we know what we can get out of Peacock.

Buxton.is an elite defender. So far, Appel is a much bigger bust
