It's not his fault he's on the field and I don't hate him because he does seem like a good dude but when I start to feel sorry for him I think about the fact that he made more money in last nights game than i will all year.

only 4 games out of the wild card? that's nothing. ahhhh, if only we had added a lucroy. that would have been an 8+ in the win column, 10 if Beltran had been traded away before we faced the yankees. oh well. Reed better turn out to be at least a 2004 fatter bagwell.
Didn't we start playing poorly once Correa came up last year? I wonder if there's some dynamic where the team expects the superstar rookie to shoulder the load and the vets relax some? It doesn't make sense logically, but there seems to be somewhat of a pattern.
Not really. They were 15 games above .500 (having just swept the eventual world champs) when Springer got hurt... that was the Valbuena-like blow to the lineup that they never really recovered from. There was also the bullpen fade down the stretch when Springer eventually had come back.
The question is does this team have another huge run in them to push into the playoffs? I'm guessing no. They've kind of blown it at this point.
Would be hard. Not only would they need Valbuena/Rasmus to both come back and play up to form... but they'd very likely need Gurriel to hit the ground running (literally) and Bregman to continue to make progress. They can start by getting back to winning series. 4 consecutive lost ones... 5 if they can't win tonight.

It up to you guys to Tar and Feather these guys when they get back to Houston. Take this to the streets.
Just Val. At least with Marisnick, there's no expectations of him being some above average offensive player. Just very good defense and hustle. I'm perfectly fine with that. This lineup is sadly the best they can offer right now.
Not complicated at all because you make more than me too when you suck if ya know what I mean.
Rangers about to complete b2b late-inning comeback wins @Coors.... smh Meanwhile, Astros score one run against a 6+ ERA pitcher, while allowing all runs via bloopers.
Patience... all things even out eventually (even if it involved the Rangers losing a chance to clinch the WS in game 6 in HISTORIC EPIC CHOKING fashion).
