    Marisnick is not in Thursday's lineup for the second game of the doubleheader against Minnesota.
    Marisnick went 0-for-5 while playing in center during the first game and will be replaced by George Springer in center while Preston Tucker takes over in right and Tony Kemp once again is in left.

    Ichiro led #2 (Melvin Mora) by 32 points that season... #2 this year is 47 behind Jose.

    Lol, Tucker got his one hit off the Twins' shortstop.

    I can't think of a good reason to play Tucker over Marisnick.

    Besides Ichiro (and Jose), every occurrence was pre-1950... and besides 1948 (twice) and Joe ('38), every happening was pre-1931...... 16 of 21 times were pre-1931

    Baseball is GOAT for history and stats.

    Maybe this is why it took so long to give up on Gomez. Options. Here's hoping Springer is great at CF as it was his primary position and Tucker has a quiet fielding day.

    I had to look it up, but the "C" in the Twins logo stands for Cities, not Cincinnati or Chicago.

    C = Capital.... Twins were originally the Washington Senators... Washington DC is the country's capital

    Minneapolis-St Paul are known as the Twin Cities.... "Twins", Twin Cities
