    Springer has been stuggling since early June... batting~.210/.317/.385

    He's due to get hot again, but that's 1/3 of a season.

    Most fielders would've dove for nothing anyway, but yes, Tucker would've airballed his dive.. triple.

    I know Altuve had no desire to take the day off today...does that really make any sense to remove the best hitter in baseball from a lineup that struggles to put 2 runs up on the board?

    And Gattis is a disaster.

    It makes no sense at all that he couldn't even DH. Nothing makes sense with him sitting "now" of all times. That's just my opinion.

    Altuve has played the field every game this season except one. He probably needed a day off.

    Hinch probably figured we'd muster a few runs off 6+ ERA Duffey. Maybe next inning.
