    as long as carter doesn't take out altuve, gonzalez, gattis or gogo, i'm ok with him getting the start. he is going to come around eventually, right?

    The only way for Carter not to start is to have Lowrie play again.

    I will take Lowrie.
    It is an absolute joke that Carter is on the Astros roster, not to mention starting. There are a number of better options in the minors. The coach and GM are asking to have it blow up in their face.

    Is there any possibility that we call up AJ Reed or someone like that once rosters expand?

    Brian Mctaggert on 790 says that's probably not going to happen and it will probably a 3rd catcher, Fields, another lefty, Stassi etc.
