5.20 ERA this season in 55.1 innings with OKC. I don't see why Luhnow thinks he has a chance in the majors.

Corp got pretty good contact on that one for a broken bat

Honestly, McHugh has better stuff than Keuchel. When he locates like this, he's absolutely a front line starter.

We found two legitimate front line starters really out of absolute nowhere. Our top pitching prospects have yet to even come through.

Yeah, I think a lot of us are kind of holding our breaths about whether they're both legit or not. If they're legit then we really have something here.

I don't think this catcher could throw me out trying to steal.

Agreed 100%. McHugh has #1 stuff with the fastball/curveball combo. Mix in that slider a little bit and he has made it really tough on hitters.

While his first couple chances at majors didn't go well, his minor league numbers were really good. Was he ever thought of as a top prospect ?

McHugh has better stuff. Keuchel may not have the raw stuff of McHugh, but his stuff and ability to induce weak contact on the ground make him a more reliable pitcher at the moment.

I think McHugh and Keuchel will be in the rotation for quite a while provided there are no huge setbacks.

I'd settle for a Singleton GS.

Absolutely. It gives us the opportunity to be aggressive in the trade market and go after a bat.
