Down 2 and possibly only 5 outs away from Nathan pwning us if we can't get something going quickly.

Puma is something like 0-for-17 over the last several games with a bunch of walks mixed in, of course.

Edit: Make that 0-for-18 as the 3rd or 4th would-be hit ricochets off Baker.

I'd like to see this lineup for a few games:

    Bourn
    Pence
    Berkman
    Lee
    Miggy
    etc...

    or

    Bourn
    Keppinger
    Pence
    Berkman
    Lee
    Miggy
    etc...

Michaels pinch hits for Erstad. Why? Both have been awful but Erstad at least showed a sign of getting something going in his last at bat. Hit it fairly well at the outfielder.

I take it back. Who the hell would leave the lefty Erstad up there when big legend righty Michaels can come up and tie the game? Would be stupid. :D

    That's why, stobbs! :D

Haha, I know.... Michaels has had a rough year but he is usually a very solid bench option. I watched him with the Indians and he actually used to start quite a bit. He really is better than what we've seen so far this year.

Bourn is mashing w/ RISP. I'm pretty sure he's leading the Stros and is among the NL leaders.

    MLB.TV really sucks.

Just after Bourn hit the homer, they have gone for an ad break with 1 out still remaining in the inning. It surely can't be that hard for whoever the $5/hour guy they employ is to hit the button for the ad breaks at the correct time????

Does anybody know how long Bourn has had the Von Hawk going? I know Pence got one earlier in the season. I'm guessing it's been a while and I just never noticed it.

Yea, it's over. There were actually 2 outs when Bourn went deep. At least you saw the homer live.

Ah well, it's back for top of the 8th and no score, so I didn't miss anything.

It's a pretty regular occurence to miss parts of the game on mlb.tv, they quite often turn it off for pitcher changes then don't show you the last out or they're late back by 2 or 3 pitches.

Sometimes it just randomly goes to ads for 30 seconds in the middle of the innings.

Wow, Kata with an awesome play. I do like his defense at times, shame he appears to be a black hole offensively
