I agree. I didn’t want him as our 1st baseman anymore but I kinda wish we kept him on the bench. He’d be starting now because Abreu is awful.
This narrative simply isn't true. I'm sure those deals were planned out as the top off season targets when click was around.
Yet Texas continues to lose. Hilarious. Imagine THEIR fans! Astros sucking ass and they STILL can't pull away. According to ESPN, HOU still has the best chance in the division to make the playoffs. https://www.espn.com/mlb/standings
No we still had 20-25 mil after the Abreu, Montero, Brantley signings. I think it was assumed Crane was going to use it at the trade deadline .
Nice job by Framber (minus the walks), but an absolutely putrid performance by the rest of the team. It's only a game, but I can't help but feel extremely frustrated with the Astros. They are noncompetitive too often, and losing too many games that they shouldn't be losing.
We had our usual double plays though. Our team is becoming notorious for them. It's getting to the point that when guys are on base and Bregman is at the plate that I fear another double play coming.
Dusty has the gall to say "we're due for a big win streak" while we're getting no-hit by one of the worst teams in baseball.
I still can't get over the play where Altuve was just standing a few feet from second base and made no attempt to get to the plate for a catch and an easy out. Sometimes I wish he was just a pinch hitter.
It's even more pathetic when you realize they only mustered 1 run last game where they got b**** slapped by 16 runs at home. You'd think they'd step it up & respond after that pitiful display but nope, this team is beyond cooked...
The JV and Graveman trades were forced by Crane and Dusty because of vibes. The GM Crane era has been an absolute nightmare.
