The dream season is getting shaky and is being overshadowed by that Cali team. All-Stars are regressing and injuries are mounting. Playoffs are the main deal, so I'm just hoping we're healthy then. McHugh might be a huge positive going forward.

Its not a shock to me that our road dominance has hit a bump. But I didn't think it would coincide with finally getting our starting rotation back.

    No Springer or Correa

2 top 5 Al MVP candidates aren't playing.

    There is your problem.

Fisher has shown he deserves to be here. Great poise. If we're trying to win a WS the best players need to be on the field. No Aoki, Beltran can sit. Look at what the Yankees are doing. Clint Frazier over their 160 Mil guy Ellsbury. Tired of this pussyfooting around. We need pitching help bad.

Oh and if trading Fisher is what it takes to get help, go for it. But if not, he needs to be in the lineup. Simple as that

Yep. Marwin and Jake are having career years but even at their best they won't be filling the shoes of Correa and Springer. The season ebbs and flows. Ours has flowed for quite some time. I guess we are due for a bit of a regression. I'm ok with a cool off now as long as we peak in October

I believe in those two guys to get it done. While McCullers certainly has a bright future he's obviously struggling and has never pitched over 125 innings. If we don't like the market for SP we need to add to the bullpen. Those guys are not going to cost an arm and a leg.

What kind of pitcher will help us win when we put a big doughnut on the board. We got spoiled with all thiese 7 or more run scorefests so when you get shutout it really is a cold bucket of water. Who knows. Maybe Lance would have done better if he had some runs to work with.

I'm so tired of his Corey Brewer like stank still being on this team.

This dude cant even pitch well when the team is losing 6-0 with no pressure on him

Stros keeping him on the roster with his plus 5 era and growing is just absurd.

Sipp should be released, DFAed, or whatever soon. Makes no since for him to be on this team anymore. Other pitchers who have sucked have been sent down so he shouldn't be allowed to just take up a roster spot any longer.
