Then every team in baseball plays crap ball for periods. So why are the Astros held to an impossible standard that no other team is? Doesn't really matter how the Cubs started the season - they still had losing streaks and periods where they look terrible. EVERY TEAM DOES IT. It should be neither surprising, nor concerning. It's not a justification for blowing up the team or deciding they just suck or demanding a trade to fix it or whatever else. It's just part of a regular season. You watching baseball for 35 years is not a plus here. It just tells me that you are an extremely slow learner if you haven't figured this stuff out after this long. If you still freak out over 5 or 6 games, then apparently you have been and you're going to continue to be miserable a whole lot, because the Astros aren't immune to what every team in baseball does.

In baseball there are ups and downs to a season. It could be that we lose 58 games in a row or we can keep around .500 and in september take advantage and see what happens. Because Boston, Detroit and every other wild card will go through a similar scenario.
