Exactly my point. I meant it in the BBS-spirit of how "Gomez is the root of everything is wrong with this team"...

But even for those who are thrilled to see Jake's flowing locks of hair in the Detroit summer sun instead of Gomez... Carlos is still on the bench and is one Springer hamstring or Marisnick wall-crash from being needed to play the field.

I guess I just don't feel comfortable keeping gimpy guys on an already very short bench.

 

Gomez was actually on a 4 game hitting streak at the time of the injury. Not saying he was poised to start giving quality ABs, but the timing of the injury is pretty sh!tty.
