because i was only reading until then. Pretty normal. I liked the banter, the analysis. But whenever i say something i deal with this crap. I have a firm enough grasp of the english language, clearly I'm not your old friend. I will say he was more knowledgeable and pleasant than you. Just talk baseball, man. That's all anyone wants from you. It's a baseball board, lets talk baseball.

Within that same timeframe, they got beat down by NYY and DET.

Why even argue about the past week's results? Why even perpetrate like the last 7 days have been "hot". Saying they haven't been "hot" isn't even saying they've been "bad"... just not "hot". Why do you act like that so often?

You're a good poster overall. You just get off-track when you get on your agenda-based discussions... when you refuse to see the forest from the trees. Even when the answer is right in front of your face. Buck, Rez, and others did similar, so I guess it's acceptable around here. To me, most personal attacks are better than a poster blatantly dismissing facts during a convo, but that's just my opinion.

I'm still waiting (not really) for anyone (especially posters who argued) to answer my question.... if Giles had balled those TWO itty-bitty, non-significant, irrelevant, measly, tiny, save situations, would he have been the closer?

It's no coincidence Giles crapped the bed those 2 instances, then "shockingly" hasn't closed a game since. Seems Hinch put respect on those 2 itty-bitty games, then acted accordingly.

Many argued, but no one answers the simple yes or no question.

    #weaksauce
    #charmin

Now.. I'm very, very glad he's improved greatly overall since earlier this season.... and, he might just grow into the position we traded him for.

Huh? Says you joined on 6/30.

Seriously... How do you know anything about that? Also, where did the English language comment come from?

I've honestly not replied or seen a single post by you till tonight, so not sure why you're even going to such lengths with me right now.

But re-reading all 30+ posts you've made since 6/30, starting to notice that there are some disturbing trends... And now I'm starting to get some major PTSD...

    "Talk baseball..."....oh boy.

The thread is about the series with the Tigers. Get on topic or there will be some repercussions. If you want to snipe at each other do it through email.

    Who specifically?

In the last few pages, there's been a few responses regarding the claim (bad team) of your post.... mines was one.

In both instances, the respondee never said the team was "bad", yet the responder leaped saying the respondee said the team was "bad".

The responders are basing their responses vs things that never happened

What's going on around here? Invented responses should be reprimanded by moderators.

Oh snap... my last response about moderation was before seeing a moderator moderating.

Regarding my off-topic post, Castor... don't worry about that simple "yes-no" question being answered. Those guys would never acknowledged the topic. Why? Because the obvious answer would contradict their previous stances.

Go Stros! The rotation might be a tad subpar, but the bully is still great. We really need Bregman and Gurriel to do their thing.

This team is bad. I kid!

McHugh didn't eat his Wheaties yesterday, though. Just saying.

I've learned that there are other things in this world that I can do besides being mad at sports.

Some people here should try that every once in a while.

this team is a strange one as in we're nowhere near dominating like the 98 astros but in a weird way, we can accomplish more than that team in the post season. Because this team is just that streaky.

playing .500 baseball is great then make one final push in september to get over 14/15 games. It's who we are for now and I don't hate it one bit.

It's pretty obvious it's him. Long drawn out post, posting right after another post, the need to "talk baseball", referencing things before his join date
