No doubt about it And I like Dana, especially when it comes to dealing with youth But many times he outright lies
Because Hummel can play the field including catcher and because the 13th guy doesn’t play so it doesn’t really matter.

Who else? VanWey is the guy I'd want as the last arm in the pen (not on the 40-man though). Not sure what else he could have done this ST
Not really, now he cant be sent down when he sucks again. Where can I find a list of who made the 26 man roster.
I hope they have something good planned for VanWey. He's been very effective in triple AAA and spring training. Maybe Brown thinks they can stretch him. I won't question Miller and Brown when it comes to pitchers. They seem to always know what's best.
Trading Tucker was the right move given the Stros financials, but it comes down to what you get for him. For someone coming off 5 WAR in half a season and raking the seasons prior, you market him as an MVP candidate. You don't wait until the last minute to make a panic trade after Soto's contract... why aren't you shopping him earlier if you know you can't pay his market value? Hoping to get him on the cheap? Dana is a good talent evaluator, but the price he pays/receives for that talent shows he runs a few steps behind. Paredes, Suzuki and a top prospect (Cam) should be the bare minimum you get if you deal with the Cubs, and if they don't want to pay his extension price, shop him to franchises that will.
Glen Davis was solid… and Garner is even better but my money is on Danny Darwin. Bob Knepper had a brief run as all world but cut it off. Doug Jones had another mighty moustache Randy Johnson is the moustache the Astros never should have let get away…. But the greatest mustache in Astros lore goes to … Valentine Jalomo. When you are like 75 years old and partying with 25 year old players for decades— and have everyone from Tony Eusebio to Craig Biggio’s wife on your cell phone contacts, you are some body.
LOL okay. The Astros and Dana Brown did very well trading one year of Tucker for what they got from Chicago. So well that the Cubs GM refuses to discuss the trade with media.
Says the guy with Tucker on his avatar in a Cubs uniform. The games against the Mets count. Dana will and should do what he thinks is best.
Probably because that clown doesn't plan on resigning him. Not our fault the Cubs GM can't constructively team build. Suzuki could have been had with foresight. Two position players + 1 quality prospect like Cam. Why push it til only 1 year left? It's not like his value was below 400,350 million before Soto. Was Will Wagner needed for 3 months of Kikuchi?
Woo WOO. He was a Bridge City Rival. I had to look up his name (Steve) because they just called him Woo Woo on the radio.
