I wonder if Houston has a trade or free agent signing for a RP in the works. Otherwise not much explanation for that last bullpen spot being unaccounted for.

Montero has proven he CAN be very effective at the major league level. I trust the our pitching brains to make the right call on him. If not, they DFA him again and just let him go.

Dicenzo needs to be starting close to every day. I’m ok with cam going down for a bit. IMHO Rogers is going to be the everyday starter at 2b. If he succeeds we may see cam in the minors most of the year unless there is an injury or Zach fails.

In regards to Dezenzo, he has nothing to prove or work on in AAA. He needs the experience to show he's an above replacement player. I think he is going to be good. He hit pretty well in his first stint in the majors and he's been amazing in ST.

I promise Cam will not be in the minors most of the year. He will be called up as soon as someone gets injured or shows they can't hit.

Why not? If you could predict what 95% of relief pitchers would do year-to-year you would be a very, very rich man.

I’m sad to see big Jon go and really think he just needed consistent playing time to be a decent mlb player.
I hope he gets a chance somewhere

Exactly, Rodgers is going to be the starting 2B because of his defense and he's got the ability to get back where he was a few years ago with the bat.
