I know. I was joking as well. I know close to nothing about the rodeo. I am taking my boys in a couple weeks. First time I've been in 30 years. Seeing Charley Crockett. Had no idea who he was, but tix were $1. He sounds pretty good after I listened to a few songs. Yeah, the calf roping kind of sucks. I'm down with bull riding, though.
I root for the bull. Every time. eta: horses are for rodeos and parades, cattle are for pastures and grass
I used to love the rodeo one time a year (the rodeo part of it- not the concert part. The last time I went with my kids it was absolutely breathtakingly expensive at the food and games. I tapped out and said I was done ever going again. My goodness they blew through $100 in 5 minutes. It was depressing.
That’s pretty much the worst case scenario of Altuve in LF and something that will happen a max of like 5 times thru the course of the entire season. The perfect storm of runners on, SS making an error, and the ball hit such that the throw has to come home and there’s no cutoff man for Altuve to hit. Altuve looked like he took a decent angle to the ball and fielded it cleanly. He just has a very weak, inaccurate arm out there which we already knew. But it’s not something that will happen enough to abandon the experiment.
The arm strength on that play looked fine. It was just a little off since he's not used to making that type of throw.

Now I remember thinking he was 20 bucks worth of Mega Millions tickets. Let's hope that the Houston pitching gurus work their magic.
