Don't think he had time for that, had a long way to run, and he would have been running away from 1st making it a tough throw.

If he steps on 3rd while running and tries to throw home it would have been an awful angle, not as open and shut as it looked live. I think he made the right play, it was just a s**t throw, and McCann still should have caught it.
