Hoyt didn't do well, then Road Giles. Hope everything works out.

Who's going to talk to Giles tonight at the hotel?

It's been a while since I've cared that the Astros lost a game. With that being said, Giles just isn't a stud closer. I actually get nervous more than I feel confident about closing out a game when Giles come out. He seems to bend all the time while breaking more than one would like.

Giles is a real concern. He is too inconsistent. I will be upset with him regardless of the myopic big picture view.

To have him available tomorrow I guess, but seems less necessary with Keuchel going and Harris, Giles, & Feliz all being available tomorrow, while you know they didn't want to use Harris or Feliz today. I thought Paulino staying in after looking terrible in the 5th was a sketchy move, and then Hoyt's slider was awful tonight

Sucks that once again it is against the Royals. We can't strike their guys out in big spots.

At the end of the day, having to use your 7th & 8th starters twice and having LMJ not get through the 5th finally caught up to us.

Will Harris should become the closer again.

Haha awkward bus ride back to the hotel. I'm sure the infield is cussing him out in Spanish. :)

The season is 162 games long and the absolute best teams win about 65% of their games. Don't take losses so hard, bros.

The Royals and the Indians are responsible for nearly half of our losses this year. It's good for us that we don't play in the AL central.

I think it is time for that conversation again....Will or Devo. I don't want to see them blow the stockpile of minor league talent before you give one of those two guys a shot at it again. Going to need those guys for another starting pitcher.

Game 7. World Series. Same score.

Does Hinch bring in Giles or pull a Bobby Cox & put a starter in McCullers etc

Losing a game is fine. Losing a game up 7-3 in the 8th regardless of how well the team has been doing is a tough pill to swallow

Guys I trust in our bullpen right now

Devo, Harris, Feliz (and Peacock if he's not in rotation)

Giles I trust with a three run lead and no one on base.

The rest of the bullpen is replaceable at the moment, IMO.

    Road Giles.
DVR... wasn't reading posts posted before my-time.

Game over now. Hoyt shouldn't have pitched. Giles can't be trusted on the road, and home is still suspect considering everything.

Interesting question...the world may never know! I would go with LMJ but that's just me.
