The difference this year is you don't see bad at bats. Last year he would struggle with sliders out side, this year you don't see that. Also, he is walking much more. He looks mature at the plate, and from an All Star he has become an MVP candidate
I don't want to be greedy or jinx it but have the Astros found their mojo? Their turning it around in which back when they were 17-28 I had given up on them.
He sticks behind his players, and they love him for it Some of his im game decisions draw plenty of criticism, and personally I blame him for the lack of discipline on the bases But hard to argue with the results in his year plus, the young guys on this team sure seem to like playing for him
