That's probably ballgame right there. Berkman's 2nd GIDP of the night.

He worked a good count but failed to take advantage of it.

    Thanks for the help, Tim.

He just made about $20-25K for that tremendous effort.

Manzella's OPS against RHP is down to like .370 or something.

If Tommy was on roids he probably would have 3 homers now instead of 1 and be batting .225 instead of .190  But I agree Troy T is a stud with a rocket for an arm.

So Delino Jr. gets a September call up??? J/K but Wandy giving us 7 hard innings last night was good to see. The better he pitches, the more in return we might get.

So i was flipping through channels and the Sports segment was on ABC13 and Bob Melvin said the following.....

"Brian Moehler on the mound tonight facing the Rockies, so that means the Astros better score alot of runs".

Nice catch by Michaels on that hit that just seemed to float towards being a HR. That thing looked like a routine fly ball but it carried like crazy.

Looks like it had a chance to tie it up in the bottom of the 8th.

    Nice win.

With all this Strasburg and Harper business I forgot there was a game.

How good do you think Harper will be? Will he live up to the hype? The Nats appear to be putting together a nice core with Zimmerman, Strasburg and Harper.

Oh, and nice comeback win for the Stros. I caught parts of it. Impressive rebound for Moehler after a lousy start.

I heard Harper got booted from a JUCO World Series game and later suspended for "showing up" the ump... of course, with a 17 year old (who happens to be 3 months younger than I am), there will be some maturity issues. But physically, he is simply in a class of his own for the high school-age group. Those numbers of Harper's are no fluke, playing against guys up to 3 years older than him. And his league was pretty competitive.

Bryce Harper will be a career All-Star. But I highly doubt we will see him in September with Washington. The Nats are instantly on the rise. Future ace in Strasburg, future closer in Drew Storen (lest we forget, he was the other 1st-rounder), budding star in Zimmerman, and now Bryce Harper joins the fold. That's just unreal.

Well, a win is a win, but would have thought they'd lose...better get some wins now b/c the Yankees are going to kill us...

Chris Burke is in his prime. I'm so glad 2B hasn't been a problem since Biggio retired.

Since Kepp was made the everyday starter, 2B has not been a problem.
