    Who was the other reliever who kept pitching hurt without telling the Astros? It wasn't Lidge, right? Was it Dotel?

    Decided to look that up:

    He finished with 2–4 record, a 6.18 ERA, and six saves in 15 opportunities.

    Wagner's career stats are amazing. His career WHIP is .9978. Had a pretty terrible postseason career though.

    I think Lidge pitched hurt for us as well. IIRC Lidge attributed his Phillie success from being healthy.

    you know NW, I think I remember saying something like, "what is it with closers and their wanting to pitch hurt???" referring to both of these guys.

    freaking ancient history now. I barely remember what was for lunch.
