    Is Berkman okay now?

His opposite field drives are a thing of beauty.... they get out faster than some people's pull shots.

Berkman bails out crappy Ensberg, the strikeout king.

Seriously. Every time the guy looks like he may be starting to bust out a bit...he pulls out the ol' trusty whiplash move:

The book should be out on this guy pronto: throw him strikes, he cannot/will not hurt you.

Once again, Jason Lane makes Garner look stupid.

What's the deal? RISP, Biggio strikes out while Ensberg hits a critical RBI double... I thought Biggio was "clutch" and Ensberg wasn't?

Scott was on first when Biggio batted. He stole second during Ensberg's at bat.

    Until Wheeler actually blows one.

Then, maybe Qualls gets a shot.

Lidge is still getting the feel of his slider back... he's starting to throw the good one with more regularity. Garner has already started using him in "closer" games... its just a matter of time (and others faltering) before he starts his ascent again.

Props to Lane today. Be a nice DH if we were in the AL.

Biggio had a good game, the Stros won. He's hitting .320 over the past 2 weeks. Put your dead horse back in the barn for a while.

Great game. moved to 3-2 on the road trip. I just hope the Astros put together a run and keep within striking distance of Milwaukee. I dont want the Brewers to run away and hide.

IIRC last year the Astros were 20-10 or some such in the early going before they imploded. Milwaukee may suffer a similar fate.

that's right. and i may be the eternal optimist regarding the 'stros...but i feel a drop coming from milwaukee. i think they're a good team...but i don't think they're THIS good.

That doesn't make sense, cause it's not his fielding that's holding him back. He's a better OF than Scott really.. and has a solid arm. I think it's only his inconsistency that's holding him back...be consistent, and he can be an NL OF moreso than an AL DH
