Lane making a bid for more playing time. 2nd on the team with 4 homers, just behind Lee with 5. Killer L's?

Lane is really surprising me this season. His OPS is high and he has 4 homers in limited action. Keep it up!

Surely you don't want to make this a habit (needing big innings late to win games), but it sure is nice to have not only a solid 3-4-5 playing everyday, but a plethora of VETERAN options off the bench (both lefty and righty) that are accustomed to coming through.

How about Lee showing off the speed that nobody believes he has, scoring all the way from 1st.

And guess who was the winning pitcher?

What a great win. After Woody gave up the three run jack, I thought it was over.

nice to be on the other side of the fence.

looks like reds are suffering from Astronitis.

    Good win.

Williams looked shaky but a good comeback win overall.

Huuuge win which might really help us down the stretch if we're still in contention. Anytime you get a comeback win against another contending team in your divison that's pure gravy. The Astros bench seems to be a LOT more solid than it has been in years past. Lane, Lamb, and Loretta all have looked very good this year. We're 8-6 and haven't even seen the best of Lance Berkman!

For years the Astros had pitching but little "pop." Now they have got hitting, but pitching is suspect. If they ever get the two together they will win a Series. Scott is for real. Lee is for real. And we know Berkman will come around. This team can beat you up.
