How awesome would it be to see three flat-out PASTINGS of the reds... a sweep would be nice, regardless, but i'm talking 12-3... 15-1... 10-2 type scores. I just want this team to go medievil on their asses... make it happen. GET 'R DONE
I'd settle for 2 close wins and then a blowout win on Wednesday to make a statement. edit: I really hope we do not see Lidge in this series unless we are up by 5 runs or more.
Haven't seen these jerseys in a while. Why doesn't willy always do those bunt hits hes so good at them.
It isn't always automatic Willy... you HAVE to assess the pitcher's speed out of the slidestep... Arroyo was wicked fast throwing home, Ross didn't have to get much on the throw to get even a fast guy like Taveras out by a mile.
hopefully that wasn't our best fighting punch... the Reds took it pretty good, and shoved it back in our face (throwing Willy out, getting Lamb's near HR to go foul, being able to throw him out after the ricochet off the pitcher). Ugh... BEAT THEIR BRAINS IN!
Lance owns Arroyo... and the city of Cincy itself. I still think he should be batting 3rd (in order to get the most AB's possible for him)... Biggio seems to do pretty well batting in front of Berkman as well.
bunt, dink, bloop, ugh... innings like this have killed Pettite all year. TIME FOR PETTITE TO STRIKE BACK. Bust Arroyo in his braids.
You know what...the Reds don't deserve the WC when the stadium is only half full playing a dvision rival that's breathing down your back.
You wouldn't think a team who is in the WC lead, and who has a great new stadium, would have problems filling their seats.
