Looking like Saturday is the most winnable game with Arrighetti pitching. I’ll be pleasantly surprised if the Astros win this series. Every loss gives me hope that Dana and Joe might be left on the tarmac.
At this point, I think Joe is gone in 2027 regardless of what happens the next 5 months. But as long as things don't get worse than they are now, I think he may survive the season. I think Dana still has a chance to save his job by how well he drafts, runs the deadline, and current prospects progress this year.
i'm jealous of other teams that have decent lefty bats to where they can alternate their lineups LRLRLRL. throw off the pitcher more often than the casual fans realize
Crazy to me that Harris is facing this lefty and Whitcomb can't get off the bench. I'm not saying Whitcomb is a world beater but if he can't get a start with this roster they need to trade him while he has ANY value.
if that was daikin, would have been a homer for paredes edit: confirmed by statcast, would be a homerun at daikin
so far a lot of good exit velo against bennett 2nd time around correa 109, yordan 104, paredes 105, walker 100.9 walker ground ball had xBA of 0.640 but ended up with a GiDP, wtf
