OF and how long the Astros have club control: Dezenzo- 30 Smith- 30 Altuve- 29 Yordan- 28 Jesus Sanchez- 27 Jake Meyers- 27 Chas- 26 Dubon- 26. Dubon is only a part time OF. Chas is likely DFA'd. Smith plays everyday. Jesus Sanchez/Jose Altuve look like a pretty good platoon in LF (with Altuve playing some second, rest and DH with RF pitching. CF is Meyers. Dubon is the backup for when he doesn't play. With Sanchez also being able to play CF as a change of pace. Guys I have better than Melton that are strictly OF: Smith, Sanchez, Meyers, Probably better/maybe not- Dezenzo Part time OF- Dubon, Yordan, Altuve Worse- Chas. Yeah- Melton needs to be traded if he goes down and tears up AAA. Same story with Matthews. Trade for an ace in the offseason with these guys they aren't necessary.
