Cora not afraid to pulled Sale, but Toothpick let Javier self-destruct. How do you let a pitcher that has been hit hard and given 6 walks. It isn’t his first time imploding, Chris has been bad for a month. I wouldn’t pitch Chris in the Wild Card playoffs.

No he doesn’t. He needs rest. The problem is that missing a couple starts likely will not be enough - but at this point IMO he isn’t going to help you more than Bielak, so just shut him down for 4 starts and then see what you have.

Cool.. Skip a start or two then see what happens.

Whatever management is doing now is not working.

I think his fastball also doesn't have the exact movement he did last year. That could be exhaustion, over throwing, or a variety of things. Having some time to rest and figure it out would probably help. If not, they need to rethink his pitching strategy.

Off a great pitch low and end off the plate. Apparently anywhere within a foot from the plate he'll hit a HR off Astros pitching.

What pisses me off about Javier is that he's not only wild but gives up mult run HRs after his walks with regularity. He just can't be trusted. Rest him, call up whoever but he's one of the worst starters out there right now.

We need to get a catcher that can frame pitches...

Dusty simply wants him to qualify for the win. It is really that simple.

Yes, which can happen from being exhausted. His arm isn’t used to pitching as much as it has.

Through the first two months of the year he had like a 2.80 era and then has been hit hard since. His control has sucked, he is going too deep into counts as well.

Caring more about player stats over wins is so dumb.
