I missed that. I heard multi-inning, high leverage which sounded like the way he used Abreu.

Astros are 9-5 so far in their last 14 games all againts the Dodgers, Padres, Red Sox and Blue Jays. One more to go to finish the toughest stretch of the schedule.

Javier in long relief really does help a ton. McCullers or Odorizzi would be great there too.

    1. Greinke
    2. Garcia
    3. Frambs
    4. Urquidy
    5. Odorizzi

    Main bullpen
    javier
    McCullers
    Stanek
    Pressly

Try to get a solid pen guy and/or a CF before the deadline.

    That starting staff is nasty

Bregman made it for the Gringos that can't handle the heat.

Not sure if you folks remember me. I was around last year

you guys have an amazing team. No problem in admitting you guys own us. Have always liked the Astros! A little less when they beat us 5 out of 6 games by a score of 34-13 but hey lmao!

    seriously though, fantastic team.

I think McCullers has to start with maybe garcia hitting the pen. It may be time to piggy back these guys to get through the season. What a great problem to have.

    Greinke
    Framber
    Odorizzi/Javier
    McCullers/garcia
    Urquidy

With Javier and garcia floating depending on who is struggling. The youngest guys would buy in most easily.

    Let's f'n go.

Seems like the Astros do better when I don't watch lol(although I saw a few minutes of the 3rd inning). Haven't watched the last few games(might watch a few minutes at random times or have it on while I'm playing video games. I mostly just scoreboard watch every few minutes lately). Perhaps I should continue not to watch:(

I think I read Garcia struggled when he comes in relief (although might be limited sample size). McCullers can come in relief right? Or has he only done it in only a few games. All I remember is the Yankees game. McCullers won't like it but maybe it's better to do a Garcia/McCullers tandem. It's not like he can leave as a free agent since he ended up extending his contract.

His SLG% is .402 since the day he announced his bland-ass salsa.

    This is not a coincidence.

I like how they just kept zooming in on the fan who made the catch every 5 minutes, the girl next to him was cute

Like this a lot. Limits the other bullpen arms to the non tandem games so they should be fresher. Sure wish JV makes it back in time for the playoffs and you’d have a ton of solid guys to tandem/long relief.

Sweep time! I feel Altuve needs a real day off.
    Who else? Predict tonight's lineup.
