Just has to work on sliding, apparently.

Basically, every attempted "pop-up" slide on a steal should be an automatic challenge by every team.

Tough call to swallow, but like the Pujols play, it is the right call.

These replays have created an interesting loophole. Before replay nobody ever debated a play like that. It is the right call, but I imagine a ton on stolen bases can be overturned in a similar manner.

Exactly.... its become an automatic challenge when the fielder is able to keep the glove on the player the entire "course" of the slide.

Those challenges by the Astros in previous weeks were the exact same thing... Hinch never "saw" anything besides a pop-up slide and the fielder keeping the glove on.

    Automatic challenge.

Correa was able to keep his feet on the base for his steal earlier... you just have to be "good" at it.

it's garbage. it's not really in the spirit of the replay, imo.

Error on Correa, but first baseman needs to get that short-hop.

Chis Carter, is trash. Oh, and he looks like Antonio Smiff.

Agree. Throw was poor, but definitely pickable

Not the best throw by Correa but Carter has to do better. If you gonna suck at the plate you better play great in the field which Carter is far from. Pros don't outweigh the cons with this guy and he is just not worthy of being a starting 1B on a contending club.

Astros' insistence on keeping these "high power" low average guys in the line-up is now starting to affect the defense
