A doghouse in a puppy mill flanked on both sides by Dubon and Rodgers. Que the Sarah McLachlan music. I will remember you.......................
Last night was a perfect example of why players need to be put in spots that set them up to succeed. Now, I don't blame Espada for that. What choice did he have? King, Abreu, and Hader were heavily used the previous few days because the offense was unable to give the team large leads and the record makes wins too important. Also, the offense absolutely must score more often. Even when they score 5+ it feels like its all in 1 or 2 innings. Too many zeros. Ironically the bullpen blowing up last night boils down to needing another bat, and Yordan, Altuve, and Walker to be their historical selves.
I think this is the Astros giving Chas his chance before moving on. It's tough to send a guy down, or DFA him (very very unlikely) until you know for sure that he is no longer the player he was. Especially if he has history.
Is it the excessive spin that we preach that is causing all of our pitchers to be constantly hurt? This is ridiculous.
Geez. That’s the first bad defensive game Chas has had in a long time. Chalk it up to rust from never playing. He’s hitting just fine for his 35 at bats this season. Had a couple of hits these last two games. They might need to hold onto Chas if Dezenzo keeps free falling. A little Chas blood in the water and you guys frenzy.
Can't we put out a lineup that will give Hunter the best chance at some effing run support?? He's pitching his ass off, give him some damn help.
Walker moves down 1 spot to 5th in the order. How about a day of rest and let someone else play 1B. And where's Yordan?
