It's baseball Every team is going to have at least 50 games that they will lose regardless of how good or talented they are. Chalk that one up to one of them and move on. Currently 5-2 in a 9 game stretch against 3 of the top 4 or 5 teams in baseball. If they can win 1 of the next 2, they finish 6-3 and keep a winning record on the season which is more than I expected a week ago.
It's pathetic, the Rays have been last or 2nd to last in AL attendance 19 times in 24 years (not counting 2020 or this year). Even with the best team in baseball so far, they are 7th. Time to move this team.
Hold my Beer. - Oakland with their best starting pitcher having an ERA north of 7.00 (edit: with possible exclusion of the guy they just called up)

I messed that up as I was expecting the old cliche.....Every team wins 50. Every team loses 50. It's what you do with the other games that matters.
Chas McCormick (back) hit on Tuesday afternoon for the first time since his injury. Dusty Baker said McCormick will “probably” need a minor league rehab assignment.
Gotta good feeling about this one. I think the Rays were burning both ends to get the home win streak record and it catches up to them tonight.
