This post aged well, :). But love that we didn't suck in Tampa like a decent amount of the time we do.

But yet you can't wait to run Dusty and Click out of town?

I still remember when Brent Strom was the reason for Dusty's success, LOL.

Most everything you said about the other guy, you can say the same for Dusty.

Interesting the Astros aren't getting a better get-away game time. It fits within the rules (under 2.5hr flight from tampa to baltimore) but 540pm game time plus travel time means they're probably getting in late into baltimore.

Once again we got a good PA by Hensley, even though he eventually made an out. He did show how 6'6" can work at SS/2B in the ninth with an out few others are capable of. In this case the long lanky frame expands his range. I think it could also work at 1B. Don't forget he is also athletic so the frame is in addition to, not a substitute for coverage abilities.

J Diaz with his first hit was good to see. These are good for evaluation for next season, but likely will not impact this post season rosters.

St. Pete needs all the help they can get.... they'll draw 9,000 fans for a 6:40pm start, vs. 2,000 for a noon start.

Atlanta lost. The magic number for 2nd best record in MLB(we ain't catching the Dodgers) is now 9.

Dodgers are only 5 1/2 games ahead. They have played 2 fewer games than HOU.

    Dodgers Magic Number over HOU 59 - 51 = 8 + 1 = 9
    Astros Magic Number over NYY 64 - 58 = 6 (tb No +1) = 6
    Astros Magic Number over ATL 64 - 56 = 8 + 1 = 9
    Astros Magic Number over NYM 64 - 56 = 8 (tb No +1) = 8
    Astros Magic Number over STL 64 - 62 = 2 + 1 = 3
    Astros Magic Number over TOR 64 - 64 = 0 + 1 = 1

When the guy pays child support, taxes and billing, he is going to regret it. If I catch Tuve's last HR ball, I would give it to him for his HEB lifetime card.

Is that what those guys get paid for the commercials? An HEB lifetime card?
