The offenses between the 2 teams are indeed different. One potential advantage for this current one is postseason. The previous offenses mostly sucked during the playoffs. I'm not saying the current one will be better, just saying the story on the previous offenses have already been written, while today's guys has not. We'll need to make the postseason to find out.

Yea I agree with that fully

Guys like Altuve, Springer, Correa....how they do under the spotlight of the playoffs is a story yet to be told

And as much as it's already been discussed, I do like the power lineup against true aces. You aren't likely to string a bunch of hits together against a true stud pitcher no matter how good your offense is, but you can put two big whacks against one of them and beat them

    This isn't fun to watch.

Hopefully Keuchel gets run support tomorrow.

I blame that freaking KC pitcher that hit George for all of this. It seems this team combusts when he's not in the lineup.

This might be a relatively quick game.

After giving Singleton that contract, is was both predictable and prudent that he have another shot. 1st base is a weakness. And despite the PR egg in our face, Singleton will gone soon if he cant turn it around.

At a bare minimum, he's demoted when Lowrie comes back. I'm hoping he's part of a trade. Maybe he'll figure it out at some point...but we're in a pennant race and there's no time for waiting.

Singleton is a low average slugging DH. He can't field well enough to play 1st and the Astros don't need any more low average sluggers.

I know that they are ultimately successful but it seems like we have gotten destroyed by our own shifts over the last month.

Ump costs us two runs. Absolutely absurd.
