About to get swept. Nothing like getting swept by a team who previously lost 4 in a row and 10 of 12!

Reeling Astros lose their 5th in a row, fall into 1st-place tie with Angels (for now). 2 wasted at bats by Carter This guy should not play for a loooong time and allow Singleton to play and see what happens
Lol, I liked the replay of the guy who should have been called out on strikes. He was headed for the dugout.
Luhnow need to quit with this all homer dependent lineup for god sakes...he better make some changes during the all star break because this is getting pathetic. Cant even win one game vs the Rays and they not even pitching Archer.
The team as a whole is just in an impossibly deep slump right now. There is no one player you can blame for it. As bad as it is right now, this team will snap out of it. Of course all of the recent bandwagoners are gonna start flipping out, and demanding we cut and fire everybody because bandwagoners expect instant results and have no patience, it's what they do. They only like a team if they are winning. Just take a breath and stick to the plan.
Is sticking to the plan getting hit by opposing pitchers again and again and again and do nothing? Have an ump screw us with the strike zone again and again and do nothing? (pitching coach finally did something) Continue to see Carter struggle and look like a below average player in a position you need a productive hitter. Continue to use Castro over Conger, (today Conger was on base twice) Continue to sit Marisnick over guys like Presley or Rasmus (this guy probably will not be with us next year) Why have we not TRIED Tucker at 1b????? Can he be worse than Carter???? Why not really try Singleton and see what happen????? So what plan are we talking about?????

Following today's game, the @astros recalled OF LJ Hoes from AAA and optioned RHP Dan Straily to AAA. Recalling Hoes was the right move. He's been exceptional in AAA this year-round both in average and OBP. Marwin deserves the playing time at 1B. Hopefully Conger's starts continue to increase. I'd like to see Hoes, Tucker and Marisnick in the OF with Gonzalez at 1B until we get Lowrie and Springer back. Gattis, Carter etc. can platoon the DH until someone comes to their senses.
Deep, but not prolonged. 7 of the last 8 games, preceded by a 5 game winning streak. The "cut and fire everybody" folks are reactionaries. Lost among the trees, oblivious of the forest. I agree with you. Stick with the plan. The question is, can we make minor moves to stabilize and improve the current squad without sacrificing the long term strategy?
I'm on a long golf vacation and haven't been able to watch much at all for two weeks We are obviously buried in last place though from reading here Why hasn't anybody started a 2016 draft thread so we can talk about the first overall pick yet? Or will cangrecrazo not allow it?
