another weak fly ball to rf from Altuve. So, we did not score, but WORSE, we did not give a REAL chance to see Singleton hit against a left handed pitcher. And instead we saw what we already know, that Carter sucks. Losing is not bad if you are moving the right direction, and watching Carter hits over Singleton is NOT the right directions. Carter is AWFUL. Singleton, we DONt know yet. Until we see him for a whole year sucking, we will NOT KNOW.
HInch has never stood up for his players it seems. It could be easy for him to start losing the club house with this approach. The team is dead and he offers no real fire to get it going.
Everything that could possibly go our way has gone the opponent's way recently. So much BABIP hurt both ways, so many bad ump calls. That being said, the team's hitting has been unacceptable. I have faith that we will get through it but someone needs to step up and lead.
