BrooksTroll, does this guy not understand baseball either? Or are you just picking on me once again as the easy target because there's no pro baseball in my country?

Bring back Jimy... he knew how to handle a bullpen, and he's done a great job with the Phillies.

Don't worry guys. If I had any money to bet, I'd bet Cooper won't be managing the team the next time the Astros are in the postseason. May not get fired this year, or next, but soon he will be ****canned. Count on it.

It's one thing for your closer to not be available because he's pitched in a lot of save situations over the past week. Well last night was the first save opportunity in a long time.

Are you not watching the games? He came in twice for save situations against Baltimore and had two blown saves. Then he pitched yesterday for the save.

Calm down, cowboy. Watch every game and then comment. Valverde had two blown saves against Baltimore. And had a save yesterday. Relax.

    Ha...nice.

Actually Valverde pitched only the first two games of that series and only one of those games was a blown save...the other was a loss.

In the past eight days, Valverde has pitched a total of 2 innings. Hardly being overworked.

I missed two of the games in the Baltimore series. I have been at a professional seminar in Galveston so I can tell the Bar that I took my hours.

I also got an offer for a new job. All in all...it was a good week. :D

What does bollocks have to do with anything? Just a commonly used English expletive. Imo, anyone who uses some of the crazy words you guys use can't possibly know football (sorry, SOCCER) but a lot of you over there seem to think you do.

Messing with ya cowboy. Mostly becasue you made this statement w/o watching any games,

"What a load of bollocks. We've just come off an 8 game losing streak. What the HELL was our closer doing getting tired and pitching everday during an 8 GAME DAMN LOSING STREAK? Did it not enter Coop's head that we might start winning again and then need our CLOSER."

Valverde has pithced the past 3 of 4 games. Thrown too many pitches. And had a blown save and a loss. He only pitched when it counted. Like a closer usually does.
