I think the injury has just thrown him off and he’s still trying to find it. He came on 790 a couple weeks ago and said he’s never been injured previously. I can’t remember the last time he walked the leadoff batter three innings in a row like this. So many of the pitches aren’t even competitive either.
sick and tired of the trash pitching combine that with trash offense, idk what this team is doing edit: you know what, after further thinking. it's not trash pitching since it's only 2 runs. it's mainly trash offense. the pitching is just not efficient.
this offense can't overcome yordan being in a funk for more than 2 games. sure they can win games without him, but they can only do that 1 out of like 8 games.
Sigh— as previously stated… I’d like HB to be the #2A or #2B SP in the rotation… thats what this team is missing: trusted vets who “dont get injurwd” & they just do their thing… 7-8 innings at an outing. We’re missing at MINIMUM another 1A/1B to elevate HB’s/rest-of-rotation’s game.
