Great way to head into the break with a sour taste in your mouth. This is the type of game that could have been insanely momentum building instead it does the opposite

Hader got zero outs. Astros choke it away.

47-51 record. Still 4 games under.

Sucks but 1-run beats an arse whopping, although Hader had to pitch.

King had zero business pitching 2 innings with one day rest considering Santa and Pearson were on 3 days with multi skills. He served it in his 2nd inning. Javier should have been planned for 50 pitches. His 2nd inning may have went better.

Just a weird game plan with pitching today.

Astros finish a subpar 1st half, subparly.

Espada's brain really is just the wind-up monkey that bangs the cymbals.

Relief failure. A winnable, momentum-producing game was thrown away. Very disappointing.

This is disappointing. King and Hader were not going to maintain their dominance forever.
Pitching King two innings today was the killer.

We went 2-4 going into the All-Star break. Poor finish. I hope Joe has a shitty week off.

It was all gonna be so perfect, a game out of a first place, a series victory over the much hated Rangers.

Another wild come from behind victory by the Astros.

But alas it was too good to be true.

Espada put the stink of that corrupt imbecile Kash Patel on the entire organization.

    Need better, consistent offense.

Rangers looked like they had a better hitting team. Need some multi-hit guys per game.
    No excuse losing that game.

We started the year not being able to pitch..

And more than halfway through the year , we cannot pitch.

We've had enough guys flash a positive performance, but just no ****ing plan to put it together .

Can we please just use openers or do planned tandem ?

Why , when javier looked good out of the pen , not just leave him in the pen ? Why , when teng looked good out of the pen , did we feel the need to start him ?

It's because we have like 2 good starting pitchers .

Please , for the love of all that is holy , either trade for a starter or start tanking for draft position
